Hiroshi Takeuchi / Shakuhachi player
He learned modern shakuhachi from Takuya Iwata, winner of the International Shakuhachi Competition, and is currently working on the themes of “bringing shakuhachi closer to people” and “innovating tradition.” Since the first year of his activities, he has collaborated with Western musical instruments and world-renowned calligraphy artists, and has appeared in many public projects and events.
Since 2020, he has been in charge of the shakuhachi for Neo Japanesque, a Japanese-Western mixed band that is active around the world, and will perform two dedication performances at Ise Grand Shrine in 2022.
As the phrase "tradition and innovation" suggests, the venue will be enlivened with a unique worldview that you won't believe is just the sound of a single shakuhachi!

After his street days, he expanded his activities overseas in 2013 and is now transmitting the power of culture that transcends borders. He also participated in the 2015 Milan International Expo in Italy, and in 2016 he also directed the dinner venue for the G7 Ise-Shima Summit.
In 2017, he was in charge of the F1 Japan GP official title logo design.
He has won numerous awards, including the Japan Design Calligraphy Award and the Mie Prefecture Cultural Award.

Hibikiza “Inasegumi”・hitomi / Japanese drums
Established in 1998 in Matsusaka City.
A troupe that performs Hibikiza’s original creative performances using Japanese drums that have been passed down in Japan since ancient times.
In 2003, he formed the “Inase-gumi” as part of the training of Hibikiza members. Taiko influencer hitomi is a member. Through appearances at local events and other activities, they are passing on the charm and culture of Japan’s traditional performing arts, Wadaiko, to the children who will lead the future.
A Japanese drum team that enlivens local Matsusaka with drums mainly at festivals and local events will perform! Please enjoy the performance of Hibikiza, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has been active in the local community! This time, not only will there be a performance by Hibikiza Inasegumi, but there will also be a solo live performance by Japanese drum influencer hitomi!

Based in Mie, he is active both inside and outside the prefecture. Since 2008, he has been holding solo concerts “Ichie” in various locations, which have been well received. He composes, teaches, and produces many Japanese drum groups, including the Mie Prefecture Soto Zen Youth Association’s Japanese drum group Kusu, which is made up of active monks, and aims to be a community-based activity.

After graduating from the Osaka University of Arts Department of Performing Arts and gaining experience in broadcasting and stage work in Osaka, he returned to his hometown of Ise City in 2012 for the Ise Shrine Shikinen Sengu. Formed a street artist group “Ustreet” consisting of an unspecified number of members. The excitement surrounding the Ise-Shima Summit also served as a tailwind, and the event was covered in numerous media outlets, including television and newspapers. In 2018, he began a national pilgrimage tour across Japan with shakuhachi player Yoji Takeuchi, a member of Ustreet, which he hopes to complete in 2023.
